Ralph den Houdijker

Blockchain Architect

Hi, my name is Ralph den Houdijker and I am a Blockchain Architect. Back in the days however I started my professional career as a Business & Functional analyst. During this period I tried to develop myself not as a ‘silver-tongued salesman’ type of consultant, but rather as a ‘modelling architect’ type, equipped with pen and paper.

Eventually I started to read and study about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. This made me realise I wanted to specialise professionaly in blockchain and other decentralized technologies. As a Blockchain Analyst I am the key figure between the customer and the blockchain development team. Relying on my analytical skills and a strong base in decentralized technology I try to translate customer needs into a suitable case for the technical team.

Now I think that’s enough as a formal, obligatory introduction of myself. Below you can find a more general presentation, as well as my CV.

Business Analysis

Optimizing your business processes in order to act more responsive to your corporate requirements. By visualising your processes you will get a clear view on your organisation and its structure.

Functional Analysis

Collecting all the required information about the data and how it needs to be processed. This information will be the input for the optimalization of an existing application, or the development of a brand new application.

Lifting your business to a new level thanks to blockchain. To enable any kind of value transfers, we don’t rely on one partaker anymore, but on a network where every participant act as an administrator.

Providing insight and guidance in all aspects of the change, starting from the business idea until a proposal of needed ICT infrastructure.

Change management

Helping you in translating the business vision and strategy towards concrete targets and plans, in order to go from the As-Is situation towards the envisioned To-Be situation.

Applying Service Design and Agile practices, like Scrum and/or Kanban, to significantly improve the development cycle of your application. Prototyping, short feedback loops and clear communication will be the norm.

I am convinced decentralized technology such as blockchain is the next big thing. Every day I try to build my expertise with this technology and embrace the research that needs to be done.

It might sound a bit of a cliché but I prefer working together over working for someone. In fact this is the reason I became a freelancer in the first place. So let’s partner up, and talk about decentralized technologies, the future of blockchain, open data, your new business, freelance work, Elon Musk, things that haven’t been invented yet,… Just leave a little message!
